Stash Belt

It's a Stash Belt with a zippered hidden pocket.
I haven't come up with a better name than "Stash Belt" so if you can help me with that, I would appreciate it.
It's great for traveling if you need to hide your cash, credit cards or ID. There's also enough room for a small lipstick and a key or two.
I used some leftover vintage fabric from one of the pillows I recently made for my office.
The slip through belt buckle is also vintage.

Thank You Michael Miller

Thank You Michael Miller

Yesterday I received an email letting me know that I was chosen as a runner up in the Craft: and Michael Miller Baby Bootie Contest. I was really surprised that I was chosen. I liked the little booties that I made but when I saw all the competition, I let go of the idea that I would be chosen. Nobody made any comments on my booties or marked them as their favorites so I didn't think they would win anything. I believe that the fabric choice that I made was the key. It's such a cute fabric.

Thanks to who ever picked me.
I am extremely grateful.

Twin Glove Dogs

Twin Glove Dogs
The dogs and their friends are on their way to Handworks. I found a little bucket to display them. I spray painted it pink to make it stand out from the carpet in the store to make it more visible since I will be placing them on the floor.

I have this book:

And I made this dog:

It was an easy project to make. I will take her to sell at Handworks. I don't know if she appeals to everyone so I don't know if she will sell, but I think she is really cute.

Tomato Pincushion

Tomato Pincushion

Before I made the Cactus Pincushion, I was in the process of making this one. I hadn't put the ribbon or the button on it but I had tied it up with the embroidery thread. That's when I was inspired to make the cactus. I'll be making more cacti soon but in the mean time I'm happy that I finally finished this tomato. It's going to be listed on etsy very soon. I have to take some measurements of it first.
